This Schedule is specific to the Web to Markdown API Product (the "Product") and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service (the "Terms"). Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms, and the Terms prevail on any matter this Schedule does not address.

1. Description

The Web to Markdown API converts web pages and raw HTML into Markdown. It is operated at thenapply.dev, and its endpoints, documentation, and dashboards form part of the Service as described in the Terms.

2. Content

For this Product, Content takes the following form:

  • Input — a URL, or raw HTML, together with any conversion parameters the Customer supplies.
  • Output — Markdown, extracted metadata, and error payloads.

This Product converts Content that the Customer directs it to fetch, or that the Customer submits directly. The consequences of that for liability are set out in section 9.2 of the Terms, which applies unchanged to this Product.

3. Intellectual property

The Web to Markdown name and mark are part of the Provider's property, as described in section 5.1 of the Terms.

Where components of this Product are distributed separately under an open source licence, that licence is the one governing the web-to-markdown npm package. It governs those components in their distributed form only, and does not grant any right over the hosted Product, its infrastructure, or the marks.

4. Output quality

The Provider does not warrant that Markdown output will be accurate or complete for every page converted: conversion quality depends on the structure of the source page being fetched, which the Provider does not control. This describes what the Product does; it is not a waiver of the Provider's obligation to supply it.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any right or remedy that applicable mandatory law grants to consumers, nor the statutory remedies preserved in section 9.1 of the Terms, nor the conformity requirements preserved in section 8.3 of the Terms. As section 1.1 of the Terms provides, nothing in this Schedule may reduce a safeguard the Terms grant to the Customer.

5. Plans, pricing, and quotas

The plans, pricing, and request quotas currently offered for this Product are published at thenapply.dev and in the applicable Polar.sh checkout. They are not restated in this Schedule, so that this document cannot drift out of sync with what is actually billed: the plan, price, and quota shown at checkout at the time of a Customer's subscription govern that subscription.
